Policies

Check in / out

Check-in time is from 2pm

Check-out time is before 10am

We may be able to check you in earlier subject to availability.

Late check-out (12pm) option is available for $20.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be made by 2:00pm,  24 hours before arrival 

to avoid the cancellation fee of one nights accommodation.

We have the rights to pre-authorise your card prior to arrival.

Group bookings

Payment Terms

  • A deposit of $200 upon acceptance of the booking.
  • The balance of payment is due 30 days prior to arrival. Payment can also be made upfront at the time of booking.

Cancellation

  • Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to arrival will incur no cancellation fees, however, the $200 deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival are non-refundable.

Quote Validity

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days. After this period, rates are subject to change.

Booking Confirmation

  • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the deposit and email confirmation.

Smokefree

All rooms are smokefree. A $300 penalty applies to any smoke affected rooms.

Please smoke in the car park or on your room balcony and ensure your room

door and windows are closed behind you. 

All ages welcome

We can provide travel cots with bedding, baby bath and highchair upon request.

No Pets

Pets are not allowed. Failure to comply you will be ordered to vacate the premises without refund.

No Party Policy

Mt Eden Motel enforces a strictly No In-Room Party Policy to ensure we can protect the motel and our guests at all times. No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on this premise. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the motel without refund. Registered guest is responsible for all persons visiting. Non-registered visitors are only permitted until 9:00pm and must vacate. If found with more "people" on booking reservation after 9:00pm your stay will be considered a party. You will be ordered to vacate the premises without a refund. 

Service phone locations

Our reception hours are 

9:30am - 5:00pm (Monday - Saturday)

10:00am - 5:00pm (Sunday and Public Holiday)


If the reception is unattended, you can contact a team member using one of the two service phones. They are located outside the reception—one by the main entrance and the other at the back — next to each key drop box.

Key drop box

We have 3 key drop box for your convenience located on the right hand driver side as you exit the driveway to Balmoral Road past the rubbish bins, outside the reception by the main entrance and another one at the back of the reception located beside our service phones. 


A $50 penalty applies to any lost or unreturned keys. This fee covers the cost of a new key and the change of the door lock. 

Payment

Full payment upon arrival is required. A valid credit card is required to make reservation.

Mt Eden Motel accepts the following forms of payment: Cash, Eftpos, Visa,

Mastercard or American Express.  

Parking

On-site parking is available for the duration of your stay. Please note that spaces are not allocated and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Mt Eden Motel is not liable for any damage or loss — guests are advised to secure their valuables.
